Gulf Center for Sea Turtle Research The upper Texas coast still has quite a few green sea turtles rehabilitating from the January cold stun event! Today, three of them took a trip to Gulf Coast Animal Eye Clinic with the GCSTR team where Dr. Wagner was able to give eye exams. These patients suffered from physical trauma and eye ulcers, and behaviorally are showing signs of impaired vision. With Dr. Flanagan from the Houston Zoo, we are adjusting treatment plans for these turtles so that they can continue to heal and get back to the Gulf! Thank you to our veterinarian partners for their care! #gcstr #sharethegulf #everybodyrow #saveseaturtles political ad paid for by Beau Rawlins For Galveston City Council District 5.
