A good friend of mines first big ugly! This made up for the fact that about an hour prior to this he hooked into a big red and in an attempt to land it, made a catastrophic error in judgement resulting in him going completely underwater for a few seconds! Be careful for those rocks that are usually underwater, they are quite slippery!! Luckily he had some extra shorts in his truck and I gave him my undershirt. Shared from: Jeremy Freeman Facebook
Hey Barbara White. Got all your turkeys processed this afternoon and on the cooker. All 100 of them. My grandson's scout troop, son in law and moms and dads of the scouts helped and we had all the turkeys ready in about one hour. Chance Schmidt has come in the store(Boyd's) a couple times this week with pairs of very nice flatfish. Here's one I missed posting. Chance is on a mission for a big one. He's putting in the time and I think it will come for him. And he's fishing exclusively with some of Joe Moughon's Chickenboy lures. He's looking for that additonal $1000 on top of the grand prize winnings if caught on a Chickenboy lure. Good luck Chanc

Guajardo Elementary wins HEB literacy award
Congratulations to Guajardo Elementary School for winning HEB's Read 3 award. HEB is giving the school $1,000 to spend on night readers to send home with students.
HEB launched Read 3 in 2011. Since then, they have donated 4 million books to children to read. Read 3 is to remind parents that children should be read to at least 3 times a week. It's Guajardo's goal to have parents reading nightly with their children. The nightly readers will be the tool to help with that.

When the cold fronts come in it's time to move the crocs indoors. We had planned on doing this after Thanksgiving but nature had other ideas. It was a challenging day as open water croc captures are difficult but what a great team at Crocodile Encounter. I hate to say they make it look easy but they are a well oiled machine. The crocs are all warm and snug and the new indoor croc area is awesome! Crocodile Encounter

We did it again! To all of those who were part of "Team Foley", I can't thank you enough. I had tremendous support during this campaign. For those that contributed their time, energy, effort or funds to assist with my campaign, God Bless You. Words cannot express how grateful I am. To my family and friends that worked behind the scenes to get out the vote, a million thanks. To those of you that offered constant support and encouragement, please know that I could not have done this without you - you kept me sane.
