La Marque Police Department released a Traffic Stop Safety Tips video on Monday, March 18, 2019. At direction of City Council, the video was created to help dispel some of the myths and misconceptions around traffic stops. La Marque city staff and La Marque Police Department worked closely with La Marque High School theatre program and Dana Joseph, a La Marque High School teacher, wrote the script. The video was produced by Jim Richard Productions. Getting pulled over doesn’t have to be a stressful experience. La Marque Police Department created this Traffic Stop Safety Tips video, showing the perspective of the driver, the passenger, the officer and their families. At the end of the day, we all want to get home safely. Remember, there is no such thing as a routine traffic stop but the safety of our community is always the number one priority.
