The southbound exit ramp to FM 518 will be closed entirely.
TxDOT: FRONTAGE ROAD CLOSURES AT I-45 & 518 THIS WEEKEND
North and southbound frontage roads will be closed starting on Friday, December 2 at 9 pm and ending Monday, December 5 at 5 am as TxDOT contractors complete the asphalt transitions at the I-45/518 intersection.
Closure Details:
The southbound I-45 exit ramp for FM 518 will be closed entirely.
The northbound I-45 frontage road at FM 518 will be closed to through traffic.
The left turn, right turn, and U-turn lanes will remain OPEN.
FM 518 east and westbound single lanes will remain open to through traffic.
Next week, work will transition to widen the south side (eastbound lanes) of FM 518.
When this switch takes place, east and westbound traffic will move to the north side (westbound lanes) of FM 518.
