Gulf Greyhound Park to host the 52-day holiday lantern festival for the fifth consecutive year LA MARQUE, TEXAS (November 5, 2019) – The magic is back in La Marque this holiday season as Magical Winter Lights gears up to open their doors on Friday, November 15, 2019. Magical Winter Lights is a 20-acre, 52-day, larger-than-life lantern festival with themed sections, nightly acrobatic performances, carnival rides and games, an interactive dinosaur area and loads of holiday fun for the whole family. Magical Winter Lights is a powerful tourism draw and economic driver for the City of La Marque and attracts thousands of visitors each year. La Marque City Manager Tink Jackson reminds citizens that even if they visited last year, the festival has new attractions and up to 60 percent of the displays change each year. “Magical Winter Lights is a safe, family-friendly environment,” Jackson said. “There is something for everyone - young and old. Plus, the “I Love La Marque” lantern is back this year!
