Happy to report that the La Marque Citizens’ Police Academy Alumni hosted their first Regional Meeting! The regional alumni is made of volunteers from several police agencies in the southern region of Texas. Monthly this great group of volunteers travel around to different cities which are hosting the monthly meeting. Such a great organization that inspires, assist, and guides volunteers in their respective police departments and communities. It’s only when communities comes together that change can happen. Our job will never be finished as we continually work towards making La Marque the best it can be and giving full support to our police department along the way.
So, being it was our first meeting to host, what better way than to kick it off with our very own K9 Officers from La Marque. Officer Santos with K9 Rocky and Officer Best with K9 Edo gave a wonderful presentation to the group. Thank you Santos and Best, the group loved your presentation! Very special thanks to Mayor Hocking, Interim City Manager Warren, LMPD Chief Jackson, LMPD Chaplin Scott and all the staff at the La Marque Police Department for taking time to stop by and speak to Region One. The City of La Marque is blessed to have this type of leadership! Can’t forget Paw Patrol! Alumni Members, WE DID IT!!! Thank You REGION ONE!!!!
