TEXAS MAN LIVING WITH QUADRIPLEGIA DREAMS BIG, SUPPORTS CHARITY Ten Years After Life-Changing Vehicular Accident, Gary Bolton Looks Forward, Not Back

​FRIENDSWOOD, Texas— It has been years since a car accident changed Gary’s life. The
Clear Lake High School grad lost all movement in his legs and most of the movement in his
arms. Today, Gary is striving to obtain a business degree while pursuing rehabilitation and
advocating for himself and other spinal cord injury survivors. Intensive modern therapy
programs may help restore functionality in his hands, arms and legs, but these treatment
options are extremely expensive.

“When I knew I needed financial help to achieve my dreams and get my medical needs met, I
didn’t want my efforts to just benefit me personally,” explained Gary. “That’s why I decided to
partner with and support a national nonprofit, Help Hope Live, with all of my fundraising

deductible to the extent allowed by law, and all donations will be used to offset medical costs via

longer has a medical and financial need, funds raised in his honor can help offset expenses for
other Help Hope Live clients in need who are facing a similar medical situation.
