TCHS culinary team takes 3rd in Chopped Challenge...By TCISD

The TCHS Culinary Arts students competed last month at the LeNotre Culinary Institute's Chopped Challenge. This is the first year for TCHS to compete at this competition. 

Culinary Arts took 2 teams of four students. Our first-year students were competing against other teams who have been competing from 1 to 3 years.

The students had extremely hard ingredients to work with but they excelled and earned 3rd Place. Culinary arts teacher Leslie Grantham said they all did a phenomenal job!
The 3rd Place Finishers included Ceashia Cooper (11th Grade), Cecily Cardona (10th), Arius Largin (10th) and Mason Martinez (10th). Our other competitive team was made up of Jacob Lee (11th), Madison Sanders (10th), Alondra Gonzalez Martinez (10th) and Diana Baez (11th). ​
