Saturday night June 26th was an epic event for Undisputed Pro Wrestling with UPW Heatwave!

Seven matches were contested in front of a full
house.
To start the show off, Chevy Chavarria was in the ring announcing sponsors and welcoming fans to the ring, when Johnny Blade came out to berate Chevy.
Johnny demanded UPW owner Bart Harris come to the ring and make the announcement of the new UPW Commissioner, and to fire Chevy.
​Much to his dismay, Chevy Chavarria was announced as the new commissioner of UPW!
In the opening match of the evening, David “Super” Duperon successfully defended the UPW Cruiserweight Championship against “The Golden Gator” Charley Moret. The Gator came close to capturing the gold, but distraction from Johnny Blade allowed Duperon to use a foreign object to defeat Moret.
Match 2 saw veteran women’s wrestler (and current PWF Women’s Champion) Claudia Solis defeat Denisse Dae.
In match 3, Estrella Galactica upended “Afroman” Stevie Hendrix in a a exciting back and forth encounter.
Match 4 saw the Mayhem Mafia (Matt Locke and Dylan Smasher) seemingly defeat the UPW Tag Team Champions Los Mas Cabrones (El Silencio and Adan Vega), but referee Hambone Lee had Chevy Chavarria  restart the match as he realized his mistake as Silencio’s foot was on the ropes during the pin. LMC was able to pick up the win after striking Matt Locke with one of the Tag belts behind the ref’s back.
Match 5 was for the Texas Women’s Championship. Champion Myka Madrid successfully defended her championship against the legendary Madam Malia Hosaka!
Match 6 saw UPW Heavyweight Champion Jesse Logan defend his title against “BLT” Bubba Lee Travis. Logan won the match cleanly, after Johnny Blade was sent from the ring to the locker room.
The final match of the night was a grudge match between “Silverback” Nate Slater and Jason Sullivan (with Johnny Blade). The crowd was at a fever pitch as Sullivan spent several minutes walking around the ring berating the fans and trying to intimidate Commissioner Chevy. Fans were so angry they began throwing popcorn and water bottles at Sullivan. Eventually the Silverback made his way to ringside, and the fireworks began. Both men traded blows for several minutes, both with fists and chairs. Sullivan then hit Slater in the head with a briefcase, and then the rest of Blade Enterprises hit the ring to continue the assault. As Chevy was ringside telling them to stop, the Mayhem Mafia ran out and threw Chevy into the ring, where he was assaulted and had his head shaved by Blade Enterprises. Fans had to be restrained from entering the ring, and Chevy challenged Blade Enterprises to a team vs team match for UPW Homecoming in Santa Fe on July 17th!
