The new Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club in Texas City is hosting an open house with pizza and prizes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, September 15-17 from 5:30 to 7:00 at 4801 Emmett F. Lowry Expressway in Texas City. Kids ages 6-12 and their parents can visit the new club and learn about the after-school program that is opening soon. The after school program is extremely affordable at $30.00 a month with scholarship help available. Registration will be open for those who decide to join and each child registering will get a free club t-shirt!
“We are very excited that the kids are getting back into the classrooms and that we can offer a place after-school for some of them where they can feel safe, connect with others, and build the skills and confidence needed to reach great futures. We see potential in every kid, and we are here to help them fulfill their potential and become who they were meant to be,” says Doug Smith, Executive Director of the new program.
