Our founder

Michael matranga
Executive Director Of Security & Safety

Mike Matranga is committed to providing the best solutions in school-based security. His strategies include utilizing technology and research-based tactics. He believes parents should have peace of mind knowing that when they send their children to school, their schools will do everything in their power to ensure the safety and well-being of their children. In Matranga's current role he leads a team of dedicated and innovative professionals. As a team, Matranga and his department have been featured in a number of national publications highlighting their aggressive approach to setting the gold standard in school security. He has also led the team in collaborating with like-minded partners at the local, state and federal level. Before his current role, Matranga served as a protector to America’s family as a Special Agent in the Presidential Protection Division of the United States Secret Service. Matranga protected the President and First Family of the United States world-wide, through the oversight of advance security surveys and threat
assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks. His work in the U.S. Secret Service also extended to making tactical decisions regarding the President of the United States, Vice
President, First and Second Families, and numerous Foreign Heads of State, while working under the Special Operations Division as a Presidential Counter Assault Team Operator, Assistant Team Leader. His work in strategic security and safety, over a span of nearly fifteen years, uniquely qualifies him to serve as protector of Texas City’s children and fuels his passion for the public service he provides to the community where he grew up, attended school, and now lives with his wife Melissa and their two daughters.
