While school online have already begun, over 15 Plus area churches will be gathering on behalf of the community to do what they do best - Pray!  Our Hope is to point the communities to faith over fear.

On Sunday, September 13th at 2 p.m. area churches will gather to pray in the parking lot of area schools. Staying their cars for safety, they will pray for all impacted by going back to school in Texas City, La Marque and Dickinson schools.

We believe prayer makes a difference. We also know there is a lot of anxiety and challenges with going back to school as we seek flatten the curve to lessen the spread of Covid 19. We know prayer helps usher in peace and hope in difficult times. This is not to say this isn’t a hard time - it is. We are doing what we do best – to pray.

We invite others to join us starting even now – to pray for peace, wisdom and protection for our school administrators, teachers, aides, custodians, parents and students. Together we can support our own during this difficult time with prayer, presence and encouragement.

On Sunday, September 13th, area churches will gather at 2 p.m. in their cars to safely pray for all involved in the school they have adopted. For area churches wishing to be involved and adopt a school to pray for that day, contact Ingrid Clark at 409-655-5348.

We will also have yard signs available through TNT for a small fee that the community can post in their yards - to let families, teachers, administrators know God’s got their back and so do we. The Signs say: United in Prayer for a Great School Year! Servolution Mainland. We stand in Hope that we will get through this because God is with us and for us! Check out the Servolution mainland Facebook page fora specific prayer you can say wherever you are. Stay tuned as we will be posting each month safe ways you may be of service in our wares.
