Letter to the Editor from Nate Troop 609

Hi, my name is Nate and I live in Texas City.
I am a Boy Scout from Troop 609 in League City.
I enjoy scouts because I like going on the camping trips.
Troop 609 goes on a camping trip every month, well when we are not dealing with the pandemic.
My favorite camping trip so far was this past spring break.
We canoed 64 miles down the Buffalo River in Arkansas.
The trip tested our strength and endurance, we also got to see many animals while we were going downstream. 
Scouting  is a good place to make new friends.
I have made a lot more friends since joining scouts.
Right now, I'm working on my star rank, which is the 5th rank you can earn on your way to Eagle.
You just must push yourself to complete your requirements for getting your ranks. People should join scouts because it is fun and you learn a lot of skills that you might need later on in life. 
Also, there are many fun outings and camping trips you will go on and learn how to do many outdoor skills. If you have not joined scouts already I suggest you should.
