The 34thAnnual Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, the Chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year, will be held September 30 and October 1, 2020, at Bayou Golf Club in Texas City.

COVID SAFETY STATEMENT—THE CHAMBER IS COMMITTED TO CREATING A SAFE EVENT FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS AND THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINES WILL BE IN PLACE:
• All golfers will wear masks until they begin to play on the first hole
• Masks must be worn when visiting a hospitality tent
• Social Distancing at all times
• Frequent hand sanitation stations on course
• Golf cart sanitized before and after use
• No touch flag sticks and cups
• Grab and go meals
Each team will be comprised of four golfers. Registration will be limited to 22 teams per flight to reduce crowding on the course. Please indicate your 1st and 2nd choice for tee times when registering as space will fill quickly.
The tournament will be played in a scramble format. Men will hit from the white tee markers and ladies will hit from the pink tee markers. Team Awards: Team awards will be given to each tee time (1st-3rd place, and lucky winner) will be presented after scores are confirmed immediately following the round. Awards for the overall low gross champion will be presented at the conclusion of the tournament on Thursday evening. Individual Awards: Individual awards for each flight will include: 4 - Closest to the Pin; 2 - Longest Drive in Fairway; 2 - Longest Successful Putt; 2 - Best Second Shot
The $1200.00 Team package includes 4 golfers and an advertising sign. There will be no refunds and you must be paid to play. Each Player will receive a Custom Nike Golf Shirt courtesy of The Port of Texas City; Titleist Golf Balls courtesy of Marathon Petroleum; Custom Nike Cap courtesy of Valero Refining; Arctic Tumbler courtesy of Midwest Steel; Nike Apparel Bundle; Meals courtesy of Diamond Refractory, AltairStrickland, Ohmstede Industrial Services, and REPCON/TWS; and Beverages courtesy of Faust Distributing & Coca Cola.
Sign Sponsorships are available for $175.00. A sign sponsorship may be purchased if you are unable to play in the tournament but wish to advertise your business.
A Gun Raffle will be held during the tournament with an unlimited purchase of raffle tickets (25 for $100). The drawing will be held on Thursday during the awards ceremony.

Balls are $10.00 each or a Dozen (12) for $100.00. The owner of the first ball in the hole or the ball closest to the hole wins $1,500!!! This special event is open to all individuals, businesses, golfers, non-golfers, everyone. You need not be present to win. Buy the winning ball today! Contact the Chamber office for details.
