Dear Church Family,
Thank you for being engaged and enthusiastically involved in the Pastor Search Committee nomination and election process. I assembled a committee to count the votes immediately after the worship service and it was obvious that each of you prayerfully and seriously considered your selections. It was also clear that each person on the ballot was greatly respected by their church family. Those elected to serve on the committee are as follows:

Jerry Williams
Doug Smith — 1st alternate
Ronn Mason — 2nd alternate
Prior to the selection process, we asked you to select individuals who demonstrate Christian maturity, are involved in church activities and various ministries of the church, represent various age groups, are able to attend the committee meetings and are able to travel to hear and interview prospects so that we could get the best possible representation of our membership. When looking at the makeup of the committee, we should take pride that we achieved this ambitious goal.
Next, I will call the first meeting of the Pastor Selection Committee where they will get organized and begin the search process. Please remember each Pastor Search Committee member often in your prayers and continue to pray that God will prepare the hearts of our congregation and the pastor and family that He has already chosen for us.
