Industrial Trade Show Opportunity is knocking! Derek W Duckett

We all know that the petrochemical industry is the heart and soul of Texas City and La Marque.  It defines what we do and where we live in our communities.  Many times we take for granted the magnitude of the importance that industry plays in the life of our city and those who live, work and play here.  The number of direct jobs to major industry is in the thousands, but that number does not reflect the many more thousands of indirect jobs that are functioning as a result of our industry partners’ location.

The Industrial Trade Show is focused on making the right connections for those ancillary businesses.  Meeting a new contact or reconnecting with a current client is what this day is all about.  Small businesses contribute to local economies by bringing growth and innovation.    Small businesses also help stimulate economic growth by providing employment opportunities to people who may not be employable by larger corporations.  Larger businesses also often benefit from small businesses within the same local community for the completion of various business functions through outsourcing.
This show, as is evident by the event title, is an industrial exhibit – not for everyone, but for those folks who are industrially geared it is huge.  Let’s support and promote commerce in our community and get down to doing business! Staying on top of the latest industry trends, gaining competitor insights, and making key industry contacts to further solidify relationships with current customers is what this event is all about.   Opportunity is knocking!  This is your chance to enhance brand and product visibility, promote new and existing products, generate leads and drive sales.

We invite Chamber Members who do business with industry to participate, on April 24, from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Charles T. Doyle Convention Center, 2010 5th Avenue North, Texas City.  The Industrial Trade Show is hosted by the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce and the City of Texas City Economic Development Corporation and sponsored by Sun Coast Resources, Inc. and Midwest Steel.  This show is for business professionals who do business with industry and not the general public.

Potential buyers, including large corporations from the Galveston County area will be in attendance. The show features all sectors of our industrial community.   This will be the perfect opportunity for Chamber members to invite engineering, maintenance, operations, purchasing, and business personnel from the local community to discover what each exhibitor has to offer.

For additional information, please call Derek (409) 935-1408 at the Chamber office or email to derek@texascitychamber.com
