Testing continues through April 14 at the GCHD Public Health Office, 9850 Emmett F. Lowry
Expressway, Entrance B, Texas City. Appointments for both the Texas City and Galveston testing
locations may be made online at www.gchd.org or by
calling the GCHD Investigation Hotline number at (409) 938-2397.
Operators are available via the GCHD Investigation Hotline: Monday 8:30 a.m.-7p.m.; Tuesday
8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Wednesday 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m.; Thursday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; and
Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. to assist any CHW patients who may have additional questions.
Health officials also notified patients directly who meet the criteria for testing; however, anyone
who has a question related to their status can contact the GCHD Investigation Hotline at (409)
938-2397 and an operator will be available to assist them. Patients who have not undergone
invasive medical or dental procedures requiring sterilization of equipment, such as blood draws,
are not at risk and do not require testing.
