Christmastime at FBCTC!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! While it’s still October, Christmas is literally just around the corner. Here are the major
plans for this season for you to mark your calendar and get involved:
Christmas Choir rehearsals began Wednesday night. You can still join up! We’ll rehearse Wednesdays @ 7:30p and sing a Sunday in November and all three Sundays in December, prior to Christmas. 12/5 we’ll be joined by a brass trio, and 12/19 we’ll be accompanied by a string quartet!
Christmas Decorations will be going up next month – look for dates and times to join us in dressing up FBCTC to help celebrate
Christ’s birth!
Music & Market is Saturday, December 4th. Vendors, food trucks and kid’s activities will be available from 10:00a – 5:00p with
occasional mini-concerts of live Christmas music in the Fellowship
Hall.
Denver and the Mile High Orchestra will present a ticketed concert here Friday night, December 10th @ 7:00p. $30 General
Admission and $50 Artist Circle.
Blending a red-hot horn section, along with jazz and big band roots, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra have created a power
funk sound that defies description and is unlike any other. With
Denver Bierman, writing and arranging the band’s music, the diverse sounds of legends such as Stevie Wonder, Chicago, and Earth Wind and Fire combine for a fresh look at contemporary Christian pop music.
While the music is what defines the band, the live show makes
a fan for life. Tight production, a lot of fun and the unexpected make “DMHO live” an experience like no other.
“It’s inspiring for different reasons,” said Denver. “There’s nothing like being with people in that moment with you, involved with
you, inspired by your songs. There’s nothing better than that.”
Tickets are available at the Welcome Desk and through iTickets.com.
Christmas Eve Candlelight Services, December 24th
@ 4:30p and 6:00p.
People are more likely to attend church at Christmastime than any other time of the year. Invite and bring your family, friends,
co-workers and neighbors to one or all of the Christmas events @
FBCTC!
