New Small Group Study
On Sunday, January 31, 2021, we are starting a new
small group study. We will be using Tony Evans The Power
of Jesus’ Names. The video is available on Right Now
media. I hope you have discovered Right Now media. It is
referred to as the Christian Netflix. Our church pays for all
our members to get it free. Consult our website or call the
office on how to download it.
Tony records the videos from the Holy Land, and he has
powerful insights into the power of Jesus’ name. We have
both the workbook and his book on sale for $10.00 each
at the church. If you are in a small group, you will need the
workbook. If you are not in a small group, you can come
to see my wife Anne after the service, and she will try to
find you a small group. Or you might consider starting your
own small group. You can just invite some friends to watch
the video and then just go through the workbook questions.
You do not need to have the gift of teaching to lead a small
group. Tony Evans will do that for you. Just have a willing
heart. Small groups are essential to our church in the areas
of discipleship, fellowship, and ministry. Please consider
joining or starting a small group.
Along with this small group series, I will be preaching a
related sermon series titled, Boldly Praying in Jesus Name.
I can’t wait to bring you the truth about what the Bible says
about prayer. Jesus desires us to ask for big things!
This promises to be an exciting time in the life of First
