​From Our Family Pastor, Dennis Johns:
“Oh the places they will go.” Summer has always been an exciting time at FBCTC and one of the reasons is the presence of additional staff. Not just ordinary staff, but Interns. As this summer concludes, I am overwhelmed with the appreciation of these extraordinary students giving a summer to make a difference. Over the years FBCTC has been given a boost through creative minds and talent that has influenced countless children, youth, and adults. Even more overwhelming is to look and see the impact that former FBCTC interns are having on the world. Pastors, teachers, policemen, coaches, missionaries, worship leaders, lawyers,
student pastors, school principals, speech pathologists, podcasters, digital strategy directors, recruiters, students, chairmen of deacons, videographers, directors of ministries; these are only a small portion of the ministries into which former interns have been called to serve. Some are still in our area, and some have settled on foreign soil.
This impact that former interns are having on the world was enriched by you, the body of Christ that gathers as First Baptist Church. Thank you for your influence and participation in understanding that what you do locally has impact globally,
Kingdom-minded ministry.
