Here are some great ways to get involved this time of year beginning with this Sunday;
Community Prayer for Schools on September 13, 2:00 pm
This Sunday we will be gathering for a day of community prayer over our local schools. Servolution Mainland has partnered with the community to pray over every school in the Texas City, La Marque and Dickinson area. FBCTC has volunteered to sponsor prayer at Texas City High School and
Dickinson High School Sunday, September 13th at 2:00 pm. You may choose to gather at either High School parking lot to pray for the students, teachers, and staff. The day of prayer will be held similar to “See You at the Pole” with the main difference being that we will practice social distancing. You may even stay in your car if you choose. A designated FBCTC Staff person will lead the time of prayer over the campus. If you cannot make it to either location, we invite you to set aside 2:00 pm as a designated time to pray for our schools and community.
Partnership with 4B Disaster Response Network - First Saturday Serve - October 3, 8:00 am
A local network of churches was formed during the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey and is briefly explained as follows;
“The “4B Area” is the target region where we mobilize our network of churches and volunteers to reflect the gospel of Jesus Christ through serving people affected by disasters. The 4B area is from the Beltway to the Beach and Brazoria County to the Bay.”
4B has ongoing assistance projects throughout our neighboring communities. Every First Saturday they have projects available for you to join. Come join me on October 3 on the 8 am-noon shift and help us make a difference, no experience necessary. You can sign up through the 4B

We are continuing to gather gently used or new shoes for our Soles4SoulsShoe Drive so please clean out your closets and bring them by FBCTC and help us reach our community goal of 10,000 pairs of shoes! Small Group Study - Begins September 27 Don’t miss this opportunity to gather with a small group of your peers to further inspect the open doors of this great adventure that God has planned for us. Study books are available through the church office and video teaching is done through Right Now Media (FBCTC’s free media
subscription)
