: Oh, the places we will go in 2021! If anything, 2020 definitely helped us appreciate things more that we took for granted, so many activities that “always” took place that we never thought wouldn’t occur! As I look at my 2021 calendar, I’m praying hard that we are able to do many of the ministry activities that we were not able to do in 2020. Continue to pray for those with Covid as well as for the vaccine process so that more and more folks can get back to living! God created us to love Him and love others! And it’s so hard to love others at a distance! Ask God how He can use you to love others as we slowly transition back into living life to the fullest. We need God, and we need each other! Looking into 2021, we have a men’s breakfast planned this Saturday; and coming in February, we’re planning a ladies Galentine’s Brunch for February 13th. More details coming soon for our Galentine’s Brunch. You won’t want to miss it! And before you know it, Easter will be here! Join me January 24th at 4:30pm in Room B110 if you would like to help with the planning and preparation for our Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday. Another big ministry event that I pray will take place in 2021 is VBS. Aren’t you ready to say “Yes to VBS”? Mark your calendar for this year’s VBS on June 14-17. You will want to plan your vacation around it lol, well, maybe. I do hope you will plan to be a part of VBS in 2021. This year’s theme is Rocky Railway: Jesus’ Power Pulls us Through. Fill out a volunteer registration form this Sunday. They will be available for the next couple Sundays in your church bulletin. Or if you’re not attending in person yet, you can email me at [email protected] if you’d like to volunteer. Be sure to mark your calendar for our other summer events coming in 2021: • Sports Camp June 14-17 (Current 1st – 6th Graders) (On Campus) • Preteen Camp June 23-26 (Current 3rd – 6th Graders) (@ Pineywoods Baptist Encampment) • Camp Sonshine July 5-9 (Current 1st – 6th Graders) (On Campus) • Youth Camp July 19-23 (Current 7th – 12th Graders) (@ Pineywoods Baptist Encampment)
