BARKTOBERFEST; Bay Area Pet Adoptions

​Are you looking for a fun way to spend time with your family, dog and friends?  Join us for BARKTOBERFEST at Jarboe Park, 815 Birch Road, Clear Lake Shores on October 13th from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.   Admission is free, and fun is guaranteed. Music will fill the air and the day will include exciting activities such as flyball demonstrations, Police K-9 demonstrations, vendors, a Chinese raffle, a silent auction, and the parade of Bay Area Pet Adoptions adoptable dogs.  Special dog competitions will include best trick, best costume, and best in show.   Food and beverages will be available.  You and your dog will have a howling good time!  The event is sponsored by the Clear Lake Shores Civic Club and all proceeds will benefit Bay Area Pet Adoptions, a No Kill Pet Rescue and Shelter in Galveston County.  For more information on sponsorship go to www.bayareapetadoptions.org
