God Wants His Rainbow Back.
By Clay Burton So, let's really look at that Rainbow, before it became a flag of sexual diversity. I mean the acronyms for LGBT are sexual preferences. As for Gay Pride? I suppose that, if after a night of passion, that you left your partner exhausted with a big smile on their faces that would be something to be Proud of. Oh No, I Did Not Just Say That! Here We Go! The Book of Genesis was the first book to be written down. This would have happened around 1450 BC to 1400 BC. Genesis 9 After The Great Flood. 8 Again, God said to Noah and his sons: 9 I am going to make a solemn promise to you and to everyone who will live after you. 10 This includes the birds and the animals that came out of the boat. 11 I promise every living creature that the earth and those living on it will never again be destroyed by a flood. 12-13 The rainbow that I have put in the sky will be my sign to you and to every living creature on earth. It will remind you that I will keep this promise forever. 14 When I send clouds over the earth, and a rainbow appears in the sky, 15 I will remember my promise to you and to all other living creatures. Never again will I let floodwaters destroy all life. 16 When I see the rainbow in the sky, I will always remember the promise that I have made to every living creature. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ However, for those who do not do God, but only do science... It was Sir Isaac Newton who proved that white light is made up of a spectrum of colours by splitting light with a prism. His discovery, together with the work of others before him, finally explained how rainbows form. He also noted that the sequence of the colours of a rainbow never changed, always running in the same order. Hmmmm? So, I don't see any refrences made towards sexaulity and rainbows, whether that be culture, religion or science. Although today's social norms, they are about "identity" which seems to be the problem that is the motivator. But, the motivation is to constantly try to find out who you are by changing how you were born, so you never likely are going to find out. That is until you run through the entire alphabet of letters. I suppose numbers and symbols could be used. Ya gotta be yourself, as you are, before you make any changes or else you will forever be changing. But, ya know they say? "You can change a light bulb, but it's still a light bulb".
