On Saturday Morning at 9 a.m. So much talent arrived at Texas Sandfest! The clouds and breeze were perfect for keeping cool while strolling through the Texas Sandfest grounds. Plenty of golf carts shuttling folks around that had to park a ways from the event. At the entrance be sure to take some tickets dispensed there, to place in the jars of your favorite sculpture for the People's Choice awards. #TexasSandfest2024 Mainland Militia - Select Baseball

The crews removed eight dead trees and performed additional trimming that raised the canopy of the trees, allowing residents to view Lake Nassau from the road. Additionally, the park now boasts beautiful flowers, benches, tables, and 336 feet of new antique lights. Robert Villanueva, Interim Parks Supervisor/Sr. Field Operator, and the crews went above and beyond the expected level of work, transforming the park into an exquisite and beautiful space at night.
