Gary Allan, Aaron Watson, cornhole tournament, all-you-can-eat crawfish, kids zone & vendors Photos and video available upon request HITCHCOCK, Texas (March 16, 2022) - Bon Temps Rouler Cajun Throwdown crawfish cook-off and family-friendly music festival is April 8 and 9, 2022, at the Good Ole Days Fairgrounds in Hitchcock, Texas, featuring a cornhole tournament on Friday evening with a concert headlining Aaron Watson and all-you-can-eat crawfish plus all-day-long concerts on Saturday with headliner Gary Allan. Our two-day festival promises Louisiana cuisine, a next-level kids zone, more than 25 food and craft vendors, tons of fun under the shade of majestic oak trees! Y’all come on! Ca C’est Bon!!! The inaugural BTR Cajun Throwdown Cornhole Tournament benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is Friday, April 8, 2022. Boards open at 6:00 p.m. and bags fly at 7:00 p.m. Lone Star Cornhole Organization is facilitating the tournament and registration is open until April 3, 2022. Grounds admission is $40, and the tournament fee is $20. The tourney is BYOP, bring your own partner, with great music, live raffles, and cold beverages. More than 40 crawfish cook-off teams will offer all-you-can-eat crawfish to patrons on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 11 a.m. until it’s gone. Come snag a photo with Orbit from the Houston Astros from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday. General admission tickets and VIP packages are available at btrcajunthrowdown.com. Kids under the age of 10 enjoy free admission. On-site ATMs are provided by Amoco Federal Credit Union. SATURDAY JUDGING & EVENTS 2:30 p.m. Visit from Orbit from the Houston Astros. Security is provided in the shuttle bus parking lot at 10000 Emmett F Lowry Expressway in Texas City, Texas. On-site on parking is limited to cook teams, sponsors and VIP pass holders. All other traffic will be diverted to the shuttle bus service at Mainland City Centre.
