City of Texas City
· It's the start of a new swim season and, with that, there are some new swim rules...and a chance to win a free season pass! For the safety of our young swimmers at Nessler Family Aquatic Center, this summer, we will require all guests under the age of 18 who are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to register upon entry. When registering, a parent/guardian must provide age verification for the child, which can be a birth certificate, Skyward, a passport, or a valid ID showing age. Registration will only have to be done once per summer. It helps us ensure that we have an emergency contact, in the unlikely event that there is an injury or illness. And if you pre-register your child now through May 3 online at https://secure.rec1.com/TX/texas-city-tx/catalog?filter=c2VhcmNoPTMwNzIxMzU= , you will automatically be entered into a drawing to win a FREE season pass to Nessler Aquatics Center! Other new rules pertain to the entry of children into the pool: - Kids who are 14 or under must be with someone over the age of 16. - Kids who are 15 years old can enter the water park unaccompanied but can't supervise other children. - Kids who are 16 or 17 can supervise two children at the water park.
