These Smucker's Uncrustables Come Stuffed With Meat Inside And Are Meant To Be Eaten Warm OMG!!! by ALEXIS MORILLO
Foods as classic as sandwiches often don't need much improvement, but Uncrustables have changed the game for picky kids (and adults!!) who can't even when it comes to crusts. While the brand usually sticks to the typical PB&J version, apparently Uncrustables makes savory sandwiches stuffed with taco meat and BBQ chicken.
Go ahead, pick your jaw up off the floor—I'll do the same. Something about Uncrustables coming in other flavor besides peanut butter and jelly is surprising, confusing, and thrilling all at once. Surprising because I had absolutely no idea this was a thing, confusing because how exactly are you supposed to eat them, and thrilling because, well, I totally need to try them.
@Foodiewiththebeasts saw these Uncrustables at a Target store for $3.99, so they're probably at a grocery store near you as well. The taco meat version is made with beef, cheese, salsa, and taco seasoning and the BBQ chicken features all white meat chicken in barbecue sauce.
If you're thinking that this stuffing would probably leak through or soak up the usual white bread that a PB&J Uncrustable is made with, the photos on the box show that the bread of these versions is different than usual. It looks much thicker and more like a potato roll-type texture.
These Uncrustables are meant to be kept frozen and then heated before eating. I'd assume you can zap them for a minute or so in the microwave, or even crisp them up using a toaster or an air fryer. There's really not much else to say besides I definitely need these ASAP. Oh, and you're welcome for the info!
