HAPPENING NOW: Hundreds of egrets have been seriously impacted by Hurricane Beryl when it ripped through this NWH neighborhood near Cypress. Houston SPCA’s Wildlife Center of Texas specialists are on the scene now to rescue hundreds of injured and orphaned egrets that have survived. Hundreds more fell out of their nests during the hurricane-force winds and drowned. They will bring the surviving storm victims back to their campus for triage and medical care. Give now to help provide rescue and emergency assistance to these animals and others impacted.
