Come enjoy this FREE event with local live music throughout the festival by Opening band, CC & The Road Dawgs, followed by Brandon Lee, Bluebonnet Basters!
11:00- Pickled Pet Parade
12:00- Kids Coloring Contest
1:00- Home Canning Pickle Contest (ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 12:00)
1:45- Kids Pickle Eating Contest (Ages 8-16)
2:00- Kids Pickle Juice Drinking Contest by Bob's Pickle Pop's (all ages welcome)
2:30- Adults Pickle Eating Contest (17 and up)
3:00- Adults Pickle Juice Drinking Contest by PickleSmash Pickle Splash (17 and up)
4:00- Stein Holding Contest
Trophies and other prizes will be awarded to the top contestants.
Pickle contest contestants please arrive 10 minutes before the contest in front of the stage near the table. Home canners please provide 1 pint of unlabeled pickles along with an envelope of your personal information and drop off at the information desk near the flagpole. The pickles will be judged by their appearance, texture, and flavor. We will have professional guest judges judging each entry.
