The event features 3 days of holiday celebrations and activities, including the largest holiday parade in Galveston County—the Grand Night Parade. League City Police Department League City Police Department will be hosting a Christmas Blood Drive in cooperation with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center on Friday, December 23, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is the only blood provider to Houston and its surrounding communities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
They are one of the largest community blood centers in the United States, serving 26 counties across the Texas Gulf Coast, Brazos Valley, and East Texas, and more than 170 hospitals and health care institutions.

League City Police Department
The League City Police Department Citizen Police Academy recently held its Fall Graduation.
The K9 Division was selected as Favorite Instructors and academy cadet Joe Lecoq was the Top Shooter. Congratulations to all participants for completing the academy.

The Citizen Police Academy was formed in League City in 2002. It gives residents an opportunity to see how and why the League City Police Department operates as it does.
There is a spring and fall class every year and the course is 13 weeks long with meetings once a week.
Sign-up will begin soon for the Spring 2023 academy.
