Dickinson Independent School DistrictSan Leon Elementary School painted ornaments and Representative Mayes Middleton has them displayed on the House of Representatives Christmas Tree at the State Capitol. Pictured in front on the House of Representatives tree is Representative Middleton and his children. We are very proud of the ornaments created by San Leon Elementary.

Dickinson Independent School District**School Bus Drivers Wanted!**
Dickinson ISD Transportation Department is hosting a Ride and Drive Hiring Event on Tuesday, January 3 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Dickinson High School.
Have you ever considered being a school bus driver, but don’t know very much about how a school bus works or drives? This is your chance to put your skills to the test. Our transportation staff will provide some in-depth instruction on what it takes to drive the bus, and you’ll be able to take a bus for a drive in our parking lot under staff supervision. Bring your driver’s license and wear closed toed shoes in order to participate. You do not need to be certified to drive a bus for this event.
Dickinson ISD proudly offers a competitive starting pay of $21.50 per hour for bus drivers, and a $1,200 singing bonus.
