 Texas City ISD · On Tuesday, 10 La Marque Cougar Band seniors were awarded a total of $128,000 in scholarships to Arkansas Baptist College. Those band members are Jabari Webb, Haleigh Caldera, Christian Stone, Brandon Russell, Lacy Beeson, Jesslyn Nelson, Karlsha Thomas, Cairo Roberson, Raymond Mays and Keevian Ward. Throughout the spring semester, many other universities will be on campus to audition students for scholarships. The goal is to earn in excess of $1,000,000 for the 2022-2023 school year!
