LEAGUE CITY RECOGNIZED FOR OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATIONS The League City Communications Department won several awards for its extensive communication and promotional work at the annual Texas Association of Municipal Information Officers conference held this week. Helen Hall Library also earned two statewide awards for their innovative communications. The awards include: • TAMI Award for Best Promotional Item ( New Resident Guide) • Award of Excellence for Best Use of Social Media • Award of Excellence for Best Use of Social Media (Helen Hall Library) • Award of Excellence for Innovation Category (Helen Hall Library) • Award of Honor for Public Service Announcement Video • Award of Honor for Flyers and Posters • Award of Honor for External Newsletter (City Matters) The TAMI Awards program serves as a professional highpoint for municipal communications work in Texas.
