Kelly Rooks and Ann Hobing coordinated and supplied a unique beach chair to grant a gentleman his last wish.
The gentleman and his family had three days to spend together at the beach on the Bolivar Peninsula and this beach chair allowed him to dip his toes in the water one last time.
We would also like to thank Galveston County Beach Ambassador Brad Metz for going the extra mile by making sure the family received the chair and had a way to drop it off.
The Galveston County Parks Department is thankful to have had the opportunity to collaborate with the City of Galveston, Texas - Government on such a great cause!
