Your City of Pearland Election was last Saturday, May 6th. Citizens had a chance to vote for 3 different positions in the general election and for/against 4 propositions in the special election. 5,145 voters came out to the polls to have their voice heard.
The total number of registered voters in Pearland is 82,940 for a 6.19% voter turnout.
The results are below.

GENERAL ELECTION:

Mayor- Kevin Cole with 4,296 votes (100%)

Councilmember Position No. 3- Alex Kamkar with 3,291 votes (66.50%)

Councilmember Position No. 7- Rushi Patel with 2,833 (57.72%)

SPECIAL ELECTION:

Prop. A- Drainage Improvements PASSED with 3,283 votes (65.11%)

Prop. B- Street, Bridge, and Sidewalk Improvements PASSED with 3,227 votes (64.17%)

Prop. C- Park & Recreation Purposes PASSED with 2,575 votes (51.32%)

Prop. D- Construction, Repair, Improvement of Fire Station No. 7 PASSED with 3,129 votes (62.48%)
