Our Emergency Operations Center had a visitor last week!
Boy Scout Joshua Erdem stopped by the EOC as part of his effort to achieve the Boy Scout Emergency Preparedness Merit Badge.
One of the requirements to receive this badge is to identify your community’s Office of Emergency Management and learn what they do to prevent, protect, mitigate, respond to, and recover from emergency situations in their community.
We shared bags of preparedness information and resources that he can take back to his troop, where he will tell them something he learned during his visit to the EOC.
