Yesterday, we welcomed the Galveston Park Board as they brought a substantial amount of knowledge and clarity regarding their job duties and community outreach events to the students of the Kemah Police Department Citizens Police Academy.
Their rigorous daily workouts, combined with their extensive medical knowledge and day-to-day battles with Texas heat could dampen the strength of any person, but not this group of individuals.
They maintain strict standards with fitness, endurance, knowledge, and safety in order to be on top of their game should you ever need their assistance.
In addition, some of the staff members are certified peace officers.
It was an honor to welcome them to our agency, and an even greater honor to know we were the first presentation, this group had ever given to a Citizens Police Academy Class!
Great work on everything you all do, and we thank you for keeping us and our beach areas and beaches safe!
