He served at the Navy Communication and Telecommunication Master Station in Florida, where he served as Telecommunication Work Center Supervisor, and later in Iceland, where he served as Technical Control Supervisor, responsible for submarine communication in support of NATO as it monitored Russia until the end of the Cold War.
At the conclusion of that tour, Radioman Second Class Rogers was honorably discharged.

He graduated from the US Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Trident University Cypress California, with a B.S. in Business Administration, and Amberton University in Garland Texas, with an MBA in Strategic Leadership.

In 2001, after the events of 9-11, he was recalled to active duty where he embarked on a career as recruiter with Navy Reserve Recruiting Area Southeast in Orlando, Florida.
In 2006, he converted to the Career Recruiting Force, and served as Recruiter-In-Charge in several regions until 2016.

Fred Rogers is a highly renowned public speaker who motivates and inspires audiences across the country..

From the desk of Frerick B Rogers
I’m a public school TEACHER!
While others are running away from chaos. I’ve laced up my sneakers (well my Cole Haans ) and began running towards the problem. This week, I started working as a High School Teacher in a Title 1 school, where students are at risk of failure and living at or near poverty.
Young men and women,
You are not the problem. Us adults are the real problem. Come on, follow me, I’ll show you the way.
Leaders Lead!
