My background Hi Friends, a little about myself and what I can bring to the 24th District.
I have been a resident of League City for over 20 years in the same neighborhood.
My wife and I were high school prom dates and we have 3 incredibly active teenage boys.
Two are in CCISD and one goes to college at UTSA.
Professionally, I am a Civil Engineer (Texas licensed Professional Engineer - PE) by trade and a graduate of the United States Military Academy.
After graduating and serving in the Army on active duty, I received my Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech.
Later, I earned my Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
After Georgia Tech, I was hired by Exxon and assigned to the Baytown Refinery.
I spent 30 years with ExxonMobil serving in a variety of staff, project, supervisory, management, and eventually Executive positions globally with significant time in Baytown, Houston, and Beaumont.
My final position was as the Baytown Complex Mechanical (Maintenance) Manager where I led an organization of 500 employees, and 2000 contractors, with a budget of over 500 million dollars.

My involvement  Although I retired from ExxonMobil in June, I am still active in the US Army Reserves with the rank of Colonel.
During my Army Reserve career, I commanded a Company in combat in Afghanistan and a Battalion in Texas.
Presently, I am a Detachment Chief in Ellington.
I deployed twice to Afghanistan earning two Bronze Star Medals as well as the Combat Action Badge.
I am active in my church as a Trustee, Boy Scouts as a Committee Member, local PTSA as a Board Officer, and coached several of my son's sports teams.....and sometimes I sleep!
Seriously, friends, I think I have a deep experience and skill set that will help us solve the complex problems that we have in District 24.
My unique servant leadership background will help me to connect with our people to understand their needs and then drive action.
And finally, I am as equally comfortable in the boardroom as I am in a refinery, combat zone, school, playground, and the streets in listening and solving problems.
Put me to work in Austin and Vote for Michael Creedon for Texas House of Representatives District 24.
