You’ve probably heard the term, “Good things come to those who wait.” Well, we’ve been waiting and praying for our next pastor for over a year; and the time has finally come! I don’t doubt that God has been at work through this lengthy process and truly believe that He has chosen our next pastor. I look forward to seeing what God has planned for our future and how He is going to use us to further His Kingdom and minister to our community.
I’d like to recognize and thank our Pastor Search Committee for the tremendous effort that they put into their task of finding our next pastor. Jerry Williams led that committee through dedication, perseverance and a close walk with the Lord. Thank you, Jerry, for giving of your time and gifts to lead this committee through this tedious process.
Thank you to the committee members as well: Ben Breedlove, Rebecca Brooks, Gary Cameron, Lisa Campbell, Shelby Jackson, Ronn Mason, Doug Smith, and Brian Weaks. Every one of them put in countless hours of time through prayer, meetings and research to help find the man that God was calling to be our next pastor.
Join us in welcoming the Eatons to the FBCTC family on Wednesday, January 18th at 6pm for a dessert fellowship and pounding in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a dessert to share if you’d like, and bring a gift card to a restaurant, grocery store, etc. to bless them as they relocate to our community. We will have a basket available at the welcome desk that you can drop off gift cards between now and
January 18th.
