Congratulations to the hardworking, dedicated team of individuals who restored and preserved the OLD GYM located at Hwy. 6 & Warpath.
They received the Sally B. Wallace Community Service Award for “outstanding projects and craftspeople involving the preservation, restoration, and enhancement of Galveston County’s historic buildings & neighborhoods.
”Their team consists of Dean Butler, Jake Linkey, Rob Amato, Mike Hubbell, Gene Strickland, Dennis Rygaard, Dean Evans, Bobby Wylie, and Robert Bear.
This project and many upcoming projects are in cooperation with the Santa Fe Independent School District, and we are very appreciative of their support.

Work continues on the Camp Wallace building and the new sign.
