At the Monday, August 22, Regular Board Meeting, the District awarded two of its first ever “World Changer” awards.
The Hitchcock ISD Police Department received the World Changer Award for their tireless devotion to our students, staff and community, and members of this past summer’s Hitchcock High School 7-on-7 football team received the World Changer Award for their outstanding accomplishment of winning the State 7-on-7 Tournament.
World Changer awards will be awarded at monthly board meetings to staff, students, or community members selected by the District for their contributions to Hitchcock ISD and showing that #WhatStartsHereCanChangeTheWorld.
