First Baptist Church of Texas City A Message From Pastor Pierce: Happy New Year! I believe that God has great things in store for FBCTC in 2023. I am excited to see how God moves in our church and uses us to reach the lost and broken in our area this year. I want to personally begin the year by expressing gratitude. I am grateful for our church and the warm welcome we have received. Thank you to everyone who helped us unload the moving truck on Dec. 28th. Thank you to everyone who brought us a meal through the meal train. The meals have been delicious and very helpful. Most of all, I am grateful to God for bringing us to such an amazing, welcoming, warm, and caring church. We are so excited to be in Texas City and look forward to many years of ministry with you all. My first Sunday at the church will be January 15th with Monday Jan. 9th being my first day in the office. We are using this week to get settled in our home and explore the area. We have learned that unpacking while entertaining little ones is a slow process. Likewise, we are using this time of transition to worship with some extended family (a rare opportunity for us). Thank you for your patience and support during this transition. I wanted to use this time to get settled into our home, take some needed rest, spend quality time with my girls, and draw close to the Lord. I am excited to be with you all very soon. Happy New Year!
