Youth Camp
Summer is an awesome time here at FBCTC. Many exciting
events dot the calendar of summer: Vacation Bible School,
Sports Camp, Preteen Camp, and Camp Sonshine. Another
one of our favorites is Youth Camp, and it is only 165 days away
– July 19-23 at Pineywoods Baptist Encampment in Woodlake,TX. “It will be here before you know it.”
Youth Camp is a great time of retreat for students. It is an event designed with limited distractions so that students can have enhanced opportunity to connect spiritually. This retreat setting provides an atmosphere for other adults to speak blessing into their lives and gives an opportunity to focus on intentional attributes of their walk of faith like Worship, discussion groups,Bible study, and purposeful recreation.
Our camp theme this year is RESTORED. We hope all students who have completed 7th Grade through 12th grade will get in on the excitement. Registration is now open online @ fbctc.com/ inistries/students.
If you are not in that age group, you can still participate. You
can attend as a chaperone and spend the week with us. You
can pray, not only for FBCTC students, but for all participants
that will be attending. Pray for grounding in truth and following
in obedience. You can give. We don’t want any student not to
attend because of money. You can give to the Youth/Children
scholarship fund and help those students have an opportunity to perhaps have the week of their lives.
We know that it’s not all about just one week. We need to
prepare, seek, and serve every day of our existence; but camp is a life-changing foundational building block for so many children and students.
