Congratulations cadets!!

​Please join Sheriff H. Trochesset and the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office in congratulating the cadets for completing the Basic Jailer Correctional Academy on August 03, 2021.
The 120-hour course is designed to meet the licensing requirements set forth by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards (TCJS). The training courses consist of an array of topics, which includes Supervision of Inmates, Inmates Rights and Privileges, De-Escalation, CPR/First Aid and Education and Rehabilitation Programs.
